01 The task
Plenty of material.
No order to it.
Videos, worksheets, notes from forums. A child who wants to catch up on a topic first has to work out where to even begin.
Parents have two problems on top of that: they cannot tell whether what the child is watching matches the curriculum, and they cannot see what is left of it a week later. And free sites usually pay for themselves with ads that sit between the child and the task.
02 The build
One path

Grade, subject, lesson. The child always knows what comes next, and the parent can see how it is going.
Tasks with hints
Over 5,000 tasks and questions. Anyone who gets stuck gets a hint, not the answer.
Spaced repetition
After a quiz, the material comes back less and less often — right when it starts to fade.
Progress and a mock exam
You can see what has been mastered. An eighth-grade maths paper in three lengths: 25, 50 and 85 minutes.
